his laugh is light and gentle. not upset at all with the answer. it's something he expects; no one should ever feel tethered down by another. unless it's murr and the moon and then get out of his WAY he needs the moonussy right meow.
but he won't answer with words. talk is cheap... he'll just continue to cling onto shylock like a nice, familiar pillow. ]
